Membership Drive
Most residents see that the board is active at trying to keep things maintained in our subdivision. Perhaps they think comes from the City of Kenner funds or work. It does not. Everything you see done is paid for by dues.
The board and other involved residents ask that we all chip in to help our community. We are a unique place and would like to staunchly preserve the good parts of what we have.
Don't be the one that lets the other neightbors pull all the weight.
Please view the Membership Page to see how to contribute and be in that number.
Restrictive Covenants and Deeds
Proposed revisions are underway
The board will be working on consolidating our sets of 4+ deed restrictions and modify with certain additions and deletions to bring them up to date. If you have any input or suggestions please message us. The focus of the revision is consolidation of several sequential restrcitions into one master document and to amend to whatever is congruent with keeping our subdivision beautiful.
Revisions will be circulated in June 2026 for input. A vote will take place at the August 20th membership only meeting.
Front Entrance
City of Kenner and Jefferson Parish updated us on a number of projects.
Our refurbished entrance thanks to Sharon Corona, the WECA Board and dues from our members
Our front entrance is a never-ending story. It needed a complete overhaul, sealing, painting and other items. On top of that, last summer, a vehicle ran into the wall. Sharon has been busy dealing with the insurance company and came through. It cost over $10,000 to repair that damage. Once that was completed we commenced with the general refurbishing to maintain its appearance and prevent deterioration. This maintencance is funded by MEMBER DUES so please join.
Garden work and flower work are ongoing projects as is holiday-appropriate decorations.
Election 2026
As of July 1, 2026, Danny Riehm (of Zion Street) will replace Brian Brennan as our District 5 Councilman. Many of you have already met Danny and shared in his plan to make Kenner a better place.
Haing Danny on board will also help with having the City of Kenner comply with certain permit ordinances that were let to waiver. This will be a refocused effort by our Board and sudivision.
Our other new representatives at-large are George Branigan for Division B and Joe Stagni for Division A.
Michael Glaser returns as Mayor and Keith Conley remains as Chief of Police.
Seton Pump
The much-discussed pump in the Seton Park area has the final design. 25% of funds are from Jefferson Parish and the State will match the other 75%. MOST of the funding has been assigned but we are still awaiting an additonal 10% or so to complete the funding. Work is expected to start late in 2026. Our parish representative, Arita Bohannon, is overseeingupdates on this project as is Jose Gonzales, CAO of Kenner.

The station was originally slated at $13 million dollars.
The intake will be at the intersection of the Platt and Yenni canals
